Early Works This is an example of some of the work produced in College. These combine many materials and were very playful while containing some social criticism.
BigGuys and BigBirds The BigGuys were produced for my BFA exhibition at Alfred University. The BigBird series was created later during my fellowship at UrbanGlass in NYC. These large pieces are based on the Dominican Republic's Carnival masquerades, African Ancestral traditions, Science Fiction and American Pop culture.
Figurate! The clear glass figures were hot sculpted and are meant to be simple, gestural and expressive. The other figures combine Glass, Bronze and Stone.
Orishas These glass casted figures represent the African Yoruba deities known as the Orisha.
Ancestors and Orishas This gallery contains images and photographs from my solo exhibition at The Caribbean Cultural Center in 2005.
Merengue Tipico This series was created for the exhibition: Merengue! Visual Rhythms at El Museo Del Barrio in 2006.
